IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

As many of you know funding has been hard to raise over the last year. As a result, there is a possibility we might have to close in the near future. In the meantime – from next week – we will be reducing our service by 50%.

Our new opening times are: Mondays 3.00-6.00; Wednesdays 3.00-6.00 and Fridays 3.00-6.00. The days that we are opening we will continue to deliver our free supper club.

As many of you are aware Sk8side is finding it difficult at the moment to raise funding. We receive £10,000 from ABC and £20,000 from TTC each year but need to raise £100,000 per annum.

We have, this year, been lucky enough to be chosen as the Mayor’s Cause and she, Lyn Suddards, has been running events to help us out.

I would like to draw your attention to some of these over my next few posts.

Firstly, Lyn and a senior Sk8side member – Bradley Donnelly – are planning to jump from an aeroplane (with parachutes) on 6th of April. You can support them in either of two ways. We have opened a GoFundMe account and the link is https://gofund.me/6f7864cc
